The stores / companies in Australia are looking for organization, details, addressed to the storekeeper to manage all processes in our pantry. In this position, you will play a key role in the care and maintenance of proper inventory of the stock we have, including demand, receipt, and inventory management.

Duties and responsibilities of the store owner

  • Tracking receipts records and withdrawals from the warehouse.
  • Receipt, discharge and storage of supplies
  • Performance of other inventory-related duties, including return, packaging, pricing and labelling supplies.
  • Check shipments for damage or non conformity, inform accounting department about the damage and your records
  • Rotation of stocks and coordination of surplus disposal
  • (B) ensure that all documents are properly recorded and managed to confirm the correct inventory level and maintain inventory control.
  • It coordinates the handling of goods, the transport of equipment and minor repairs required.

Store owner's requirements and qualifications
  • Knowledge of accounting and sound stockpile management
  • Familiarity with standard concepts and best practices in the warehouse or warehouse environment
  • An analytical mind with the ability to make precise mathematical calculations.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Increased attention to detail and capacity to manage time effectively
  • Business skills with regular office equipment
  • Diploma of lower secondary education or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in storage, inventory control or accounting
  • Valid driver's license and ready to buy and maintain a loading certificate.
  • The physical ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 pounds and sometimes up to 50 pounds.
